Privacy Policy

Working-Bolt (“the app”) is a private scheduling companion for a physician group that uses the Lightning Bolt scheduler. It helps members see open shifts, their own roster, who is on service, and arrange shift swaps. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with your information.

Signing in to Lightning Bolt

You sign in to Lightning Bolt inside a secure web view that loads Lightning Bolt’s own login page. Your username and password are entered directly on that page and are never seen, stored, or transmitted by the app or its developer. The app uses only the resulting session to read your schedule, exactly as the Lightning Bolt website would.

Data stored on your device

Your upcoming shifts, the group roster, open-shift postings, and related schedule information are cached locally on your device so the app is fast and works offline. Deleting the app removes this local data.

Data sent to our backend

To deliver push alerts for newly opened shifts and to show the group’s shared open-shift pool, the app sends the following to a private backend service (hosted on Supabase):

• Open-shift postings — the shifts colleagues have offered for pickup;
• Your employee ID — to match alerts and swap offers to the right person;
• Your device’s push notification token — used solely to send shift alerts through Apple’s Push Notification service.

Any colleague names or shift details shown in the app are the same information already visible to every member inside Lightning Bolt. This data is used only to operate the app’s features and is not used for advertising or profiling.

What the app does not do

• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with anyone.
• No user accounts or passwords are created or collected by the app.

Push notifications

If you allow notifications, your device token is used only to send you alerts about open shifts and swap activity relevant to you. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.

Data retention and deletion

Local data is removed when you delete the app. To have your employee ID and push token removed from the backend, contact us at the address below and we will delete them.

Children

The app is a professional tool for members of a physician group and is not directed at children.

Lightning Bolt

Lightning Bolt is a scheduling product operated by PerfectServe. Using the app requires your own Lightning Bolt account, and Lightning Bolt’s handling of your data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. This app is an independent companion and is not affiliated with or endorsed by PerfectServe.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
